Danger, drama, steamy and hot. Emotional & vivide.
After she has to much stunt of pictures about her in drunken or half naked state, her father Douglas send her on 6w internship at Sea Lab.
She will work on her reputation, with living sea animals under Gabriel (Gabe)
At this point she's 23y brat heireless who loves party instead of studies or work and who needs to change her personality and reputation and without of course Bad Boy Jonathan Church her actual boyfriend.
This was the first book in the Destiny Beach Series. Pepper and Jonathan are a friends with benefits couple and he wants her all to himself. Both are rich, reckless and fodder for the tabloids. Pepper's latest antics almost land her in jail until her Dad works out a deal for her to do community service at a marine lab. She has the hots for her boss, Gabe and he for her. But he's serious about his work and she brings too much excitement to his world. And of course there's always Jonathan. Fast paced, humorous at times and lots of steam. Be forewarned there is a cliffhanger. This was an enjoyable book to read and I can wait to read #2.
I wish I could give this another half star. It's better than a 4 but not quite a 5.
Pepper and Gabe make for a great couple. The story moves smoothly from one scene to the next and it is different enough from the typical billionaire stories to make it worth reading. I was also pleased that these two are the same age, so many of the billionaires are much older than the girls they fall in love with.
Ugh, I really don’t like cliffhangers but at least I don’t have to wait for Books 2 and 3 to find out what happens as they are already out. I hate to admit it, but I am really looking forward to more of this story.

This is a great read. However, I did not see a big cliffhanger being the end. Now, I’m hooked on the story, so I will be getting the next book in series to see what happens. Pepper is a fun-loving character. She just seems to be doing the wrong thing in wrong place at times. Plus, she has no break because it seems like the paparazzi follow her everywhere. Gabe is a great character in this story as well. He rather hide instead of being in the spotlight. Gabe and Pepper have great chemistry together even though they are exact opposites. There was places the story had me laughing out loud.
This is the first book in a trilogy, and ends in a cliffhanger. That said, Pepper Anderson is introduced. She is the daughter of a wealthy real estate mogul in Florida. She is a bit wild and her only purpose in life is to party. As a result she is a target of the paparazzi, especially when she makes unwise choices. Her dad gets her a job as an intern at Sea Lab in the hopes that her true character will emerge and she can find a meaningful direction for her life. The director at Sea Lab is the very serious Gabe Gregory, who has been working or volunteering at the sea park since he was 17 (for 11 yrs or so). Hesitantly he agrees to take Pepper as an intern. At first she is truly clueless. But as the days progress, she matures and becomes a hard worker, just as her dad had hoped. Gabe also notices the changes, so his opinion of her favorably increases, and the two begin a relationship. Will it last? What will happen when Pepper's sister is back from boarding school? What is the cliff hanger?
